Some Say… But is that your final answer? Does it have to be? You dont have to agree!

Some of you out there might have gone through enough mess already this year to throw in the towel. But I’ve come to encourage you to hang in there. The rain don’t last always. I’m here to remind you that this too shall pass. I’m here to tell you that your steps are ordered. Ya see, God knows exactly what you need to press the junk out of you that you have been holding onto.

Yes we can hold on to things that we consider good, but we hold on to them to affirm our egos, our place in the universe and our self-created images of ourselves. There are some roles we even continue to play-act that no longer serve us, they have outlived their usefulness.

Ha, some of have even to sit down and stop moving along our life’s journey because we are too afraid that the next step might be a place of success. Imagine that, being afraid of being secure, children behavior improving, sales increasing for our businesses, learning lessons with ease when we leave the crowd behind and act in our purpose, the reality of having enough and more than enough (so we can share it).

Are you ready to answer the call. Oh there is a definite wake up call bouncing off the four walls of your homes and car and work places and schools. Don’t fret, that call is persistence so just answer it. Just say “yes” or “no” whichever one is appropriate.

Oh I see, you might be worried about the voice you’re following, huh? Let me clue in on a secret my sista-friend taught me. “If you really belief that the direction “THE VOICE” is leading you, is God, then there will be grace provided for you to continue on your journey. If you believe its God and it isn’t, then God’s grace will cover you and lead you into safety.”

One thing for sure, you will be lead to a place in your life, heart and mind that will free you of all that would defile love being perfectly formed in you. Plain and simple! Each incident is to press, prod, pull, push, even plunder vain imaginations we have about ourselves which act as breeding grounds for pride, guilt, separation, grandiosity, and the ever popular FEAR! Our egos is a terrible and nasty scrapper. If you want to ever find out just how diligent EGO can be in maintaining its kingship, justtry to dislodge it from the throne it has set up in the heart.

That might sound like EGO is too strong to even bother with. Why rock the boat, right? We’ve always gotten by, right? Listen to those thoughts which mask themselves as reason and logic. They are the whisperings of the EGO in your own voice and telling you that you will never make it. But why would you set yourself up for failure? Why would you ever allow yourself to be kept in bondage? As long as the ego is enthroned, there is no freedom. The freedom that was promised to us when we know the truth! What is the truth?

God delights in us. God watches over us like a hen brooding over her chicks. God is love; not just a lover. Not just loving. God is love! We are fashioned in the image of LOVE! So yeah, our steps are ordered to walk in Love, to lead us into Love, by Love with Love for Love. Got it?

Let’s look at this “love, loving, lover” you might be surprised…

You don’t have to walk in shame, guilt or condemnation. Nor do you have to be lead by Ego any longer. The Master is waiting for you to take the freedom that is YOURS and yours alone. Instead, be love, Beloved. Shalom.

[[ LOVE suffers long, and is kind; LOVE is never envious, nor does LOVE boast about itself, is not puffed up,
LOVE does not behave unseemly, nor does LOVE seek its own way, LOVE is not easily provoked, nor can LOVE think evil;
LOVE cannot rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.
LOVE… bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things.

LOVE never fails, but when there is prophecies (the voice of ego telling us what cannot be, what we can’t endure, we just can’t hold on to a moment longer, peace and joy can never be ours), THEY SHALL FAIL; and when there is tongues (condemnations, ridicule, slander, accusations from the ego), they shall cease; also when there is knowledge (the memory echo stamped on our minds and hearts about how things have always been), it shall vanish away.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect LOVE comes, then that which is in part shall be done away.]]

This is the reason why it is so easy for us to listen to dooming and damning voice of EGO, because we forget that time is an illusion. This arbitrary construct that is used to chronicle the past regrets and to diminish hope with doubts and fears about the future. With forward projections of doom and the looming anguish of the past we never fully enter into THIS MOMENT; which is the only place love dwells. NOW faith is… God dwells in NOW. The Eternal Now!

So give that dark cloud following you around telling you that you will never be good enough, the royal wave. Tell the naysays to kiss off. When your doubts yell at you, yell back…. “I doubt that, Doubt”.

Live free. Love always and all ways. Peace.

Causes that affect…

Causes that Affect
Today’s reading in “A COURSE IN MIRACLES”, on a simple topic, “Anger, Attack and Fear”.

The relationship of anger to attack is obvious, but the inevitable association of anger and fear is not always so clear. Anger always involves projection of separation, which must ultimately be acceptd as entirely one’s own responsibility. Anger cannot occur unless you believe that you have been attacked, that your attack was justified, and that you are not in no way responsible. Given these three wholly irrational premises, the equally irrational conclusion that a brother or sister is worthy of attack rather than love follows. What can be expected from insane premises except an insane conclusion.

I (Christ) do not call for martyrs but for teachers. No one is punished for sins, and the Sons of God are not sinners. [1John 3:9 — Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.] Chew on that a moment, I’ll wait.

Any concept of “punishment” involves the projection of blame and reinforces the idea that blame is justified. Tsk tsk tsk. [Phil 2:12 (b) — 2:15 — work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;] The behavior that results is a lesson in blame, just as all behavior teaches the beliefs which motivate it.

Casting blame is not something that God needs to do; however, it might be something we don’t recognize right off. Blame like all other emotions are egos of the self-righteous; sometimes known as — burdens. Standing in guilt and shame and even blame is condemning warranting a punishment of some kind. God’s love for us protects us from God’s wrath. For this, we must become grateful and aware that God only has love for us. Therefore we should lay these burdens down. Surely, humans were not meant to carry such weight (Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,…).

So what does God need? Perhaps our appreciation? Think about that. Would a self-creating, self-sufficient God need external validation. Our appreciation is something that God doesn’t need. Think about it for a moment. What could we possibly have that God would need?  (One suggestion is our servitude.  I have thought about this and realize that its not servitude that is the answer, but our love.  The very love that formed us, shapes us, extended to us, works in us is to flow right back to God because God is love and the source of love.  Perfect love yields itself to obedience and servitude.)

God doesn’t needs anything, we do. Being full of ego produces (creates) ungrateful and unappreciative blocks the flow of love from us and toward us. Ego-beings thrive in blame, guilt, shame and ventication. Stoking the fires of fear with anger, love is stiffled and I’m justified to treat you shabbily, even attacking you outright because of my lack of appreciation you as the image that God created. We cannot love what we do not appreciate, and fear makes appreciation impossible. Whenever we are afraid of what we are, we do not appreciate it and will therefore reject it. As a result we will teach rejection.

Consider, the power of the sons of God is operation all the time because they were created as creators. Their influence on each other is without limit and must be used for their join salvation. [Eph. 4:8–13 — But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:]

Each one must teach one of their Sonship, teach one another to love fearlessly, learn to teach that all form of rejection are utterly meaningless. The separation is the notion of rejection. Separation implicitly suggests banishment, turning away, disapproval, forsaking, and abandonment. Do these qualities sound like a loving God? So, as long as any of us teach rejection, we will still believe in it. This is not as God thinks, and we must begin to think as He thinks in order to follow Christ’s request, Matt. 22:29… Take my yoke upon you, and LEARN OF ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. This is further expressed in 2 Peter 3:18, But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Now lets look at Anger and Attack in this light. Luke 10:19 reminds us, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Nothing is either good or bad but thinking makes it so. — Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act 2, Scene 2. All of our emotions and the corresponding actions are generated in our minds.

My anger yields my attack basically. However, in God’s light of who you and I really are, my attacking you, I am trying to attack God (whose image and likeness you were created). Such folly (ego driven thought and actions) is too humors to me, that at one time, I believed I could have an affect on another that did not generate in love. Now the above verse from Lukes, reminds us of the following, 1) If perfect love casts out fear, and if fear exists, then there is not perfect love. BUT, only perfect love really exists. If there is fear, it creates a state which does not exist. 2) The Soul is in a state of grace forever. Man’s reality is only his Soul. Therefore, man is in a state of grace forever. 3) Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Selah

I know this is a bitter pill to swallow when our emotions rise up and demand an eye for an eye. But vengence is mine saith the Lord. Can assault be made on the body? Of course. Now I ask you this, are YOU your body? The YOU, you, lives in the body. You are not your body. Therefore, while the material can decompose, the spiritual YOU can never be destroyed. You ask, “why not?”. Because You and Your Father are ONE.

That which is born of SPIRIT, is spirit. Did or did not God’s spirit create you? Did or did not God’s Holy Spirit quicken you? Is God or isn’t God, spirit? I rest my case. All things belonging to the Father, return to Him. Even us.

So the next time pesky emotions like blame, shame, guilt, or the cry for justice rises up within ask this one simple question, are we watching and responding to life thru the ego or thru the spirit?

The Word for today is FEAR.

suspect, have a (sneaking) suspicion, be inclined to think, be afraid, have a hunch, think it likely.

Now I posted all of that so that I could say this. I have finally found a book that I’ve been looking for for several years. It’s title is “A Course in Miracles’. Reading the Intruduction there is an odd saying that only now makes sense. “NOTHING REAL CAN BE THREATENED. NOTHING UNREAL EXISTS. HEREIN LIES THE PEACE OF GOD”. It was too much for my brain to handle at first. But after thinking about it for a couple of weeks and reading onward, I now am starting to understand this parable.

As I comb further into Chapter 1, The Meaning of Miracles, Section IV. The Illusion of Needs, something just popped out at me and literally caused me to pause and think (selah in effect). Allow me to share the concepts with you, then I will add my own little spin on it.

4. The real purpose of this world is to use it to correct our unbeliefs. You can never control the effects of fear yourself, because you made fear, and you believe in what you made. In attitude, then though not content, you resemble the Creator, Who has perfect faith in His creation because He created them. Belief produces the acceptance of existence. That is why you can believe what no one else thinks is true. If is true for you because it was made by you.

5. All aspects of fear are untrue because they do not exist at the creative level, and therefore do not exist at all. To whatever extent you are willing to submit your beliefs to this test, to that extent are your perceptions corrected. In sorting out the false from the true, the miracle proceeds along these lines:

Perfect love cast out fear
If fear exists
Then there is not perfect love
Only perfect love exists
If there is fear
It produces a state that does not exist.

Believe this and you will be free. Only God establish this solution, and this faith is His gift.

Now that is a mouthful and head twister. What struck me was the notion that I created my fear, and because I belief what I made two things are evident. First, God did indeed create me in His image because I can create (will into existence or my perceived reality). Moreover, what I create since God did not create it, it does not exist. God does not create illusions. Mankind does. Thusly, I create only a false state of reality because it does not align with that which is real.

Many time in my own life I have allowed myself to live in the shadows of reality; playing in the shadows and calling it LIFE. Shrinking in fear of a concept of something outside my Creator. Look at it now, I can see how foolish it is to hold onto fear. In the Judeo-Christian Holy Bible, “fear not” is mentioned 144 times, “be not afraid” is mentioned 54 times, “fret not” is mentioned 5 times, “troubled” which is another word for worried is mentioned 68 times.

Let’s look at our fear, worry, fretting and troubled in spirit for what they are. If we live in the illusion that we are somehow attached to this bag of water, flesh and bone and it show how determine our state of being, then we will forever be deceiving, limiting, deluting, and even hindering all the possibilities of real self. That illusion only begs for needs to be fulfilled. The need to be taller, shorter, thinner, heavier, straighter hair, more curls, and so on.

Provoking need in our hearts and minds and even in our very souls is a lie. How can this be true? Because we are already the complete form the Creator designed us to be. I know, I know, what you’re thinking. What about the suffering we insure in our bodies or babies born with birth defects, or the mentality challenged. Are they also complete and perfect? Do not they indeed “need” something to become normal?

I’ll leave you with one thought to answer this question. Where are you? Not regarding a physical local or state of mind, but a state of being? Your personal reality, is it inside you or outside of you? Is it inside the Creator or outside the Creator? Selah in effect – think about it. I’ll answer this question, this weekend.

Word of the day – July 14, 2015

Word for the day

catalyst |ˈkatl-ist|

a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change.

• a person or thing that precipitates an event: the governor’s speech acted as a catalyst for debate.

ORIGIN early 20th cent.: from catalysis, on the pattern of analyst.

the governor’s speech was a catalyst for debate: stimulus, stimulation, spark, sparkplug, spur, incitement, impetus.

Now the thesaurus limits itself to these words. I would add the following: motivate, encourage, excite, propel, jumpstart, just to name a few. Now what am I speaking about catalyst. I never thought you would ask.

Thought for the day, Newtons law of motion

I know what you’re thinking… you’re wrong!

Newton’s First Law states that “Every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force.” This is normally taken as the definition of inertia. So, what does this mean and how does it apply to humans? I’m glad you asked, allow me to clarify. This means that there is a natural tendency of objects (humans) to keep doing what they are doing. All objects resist changes in their state of motion. In other words, If you aint doing nothing, then nothing will continue as your natural state or condition. Although, if you are doing something, then you will continue to do something unless otherwise your “motion” is confronted by a stronger or greater force. Consider this law at work when we apply it to out thoughts. Scary, isn’t it?

The Newton’s Second Law explains how fast it will move based on the force applied to it. See here, “Acceleration (overcoming inertia) is produced when a force acts on a mass. The greater the mass (of the object being accelerated) the greater the amount of force needed (to accelerate the object). However, the second law gives us an exact relationship between force, mass, and acceleration. It can be expressed as a mathematical equation: F=MA.

If we apply this to our emotions, whew. Quite often when our emotions remain unchecked they continue as Newton’s First Law implies. They spiral us down a singular path to mount fortified walls so the only other humans who are allowed to enter are those who will co-sign and validate the emotions we insist on carrying. It is unfortunate because according to that law, only a greater force will be able to knock us off our kisters long enough for us to dissemble the fortress be built around our hearts to keep us “safe”.

Newton’s Third Law of motion states, “For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action”. I love that word, RE-ACTION. But I digress, back to the meaning. This means that for every force there is a reaction force that is equal in size, but opposite in direction. That is to say that when an object pushes another object it gets pushed back in the opposite direction equally as hard.

How does this apply to change, transformation, or the word of the day, catalyst? Easy-peasy, if we start looking at ourselves, thoughts, emotions, situations, and circumstances as the “mass or matter” that isn’t moving, non-reactive, non-responsive, not fulfilling our purpose OR that yearning we have in the pit of our bellies; You know the stuff that dreams are made of. That stuff that is not being actualized. In short, our potential has lost its potency because we are sitting on our backsides. Yeah.

So those of you, who find yourself in that condition, first get over being embarrassed. Take help that is offered. We have all be there. Tasks unfinished, situation unresolved. We have and those of us who have been there can be your catalyst to get you out of the rut you may find yourself in.

Now we have attacked Newton’s first and second laws of motion, what about the third. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Now please understand, I am fully aware that some of you are not slothful. I understand that there are projects that have been started, only to find, “that your get up and go has gotten up and went”. Start. Stop. Start. Oh Shiney.

For those who are facing this third law at work in their lives may experience, that they are facing a 100 mph gale. It seems all of life’s fury is being thrown at you to get you distracted, to give us, to hand it off to someone else because its just too dang hard to continue and the load is heavy.

Regardless of which law is at work in your life at the moment, simply by reading this you are definitely in the right place at the right time. Your catalyst, greater force, opposite re-action, is here to help hurdle you over yourself, situation, or circumstance to actualize the dream you carry in your heart.

I’m not a mathematician, but I do like how simply mathematics addresses this. So much so, that I have a mathematic equation to explain how change occurs. For that, stay tune.

E=MC (squared)

emotions = matter x constant (squared)

Or in other words, our emotions is the direct result of what we deem significant (things or people that matter) to us impacted by the multiplier of the standard (or constant) of what we perceive as normal. However, since “normal” is subjective as well as objective, it has exponential impact on the circumstance and situation we apply significance to (the things or people that matter), thus revealing the emotions being generated.

By sheer definition, the word emotion means: emotion |iˈmōSHən| noun

a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others: she was attempting to control her emotions | his voice was low and shaky with emotion | fear had become his dominant emotion.

• instinctive or intuitive feeling as distinguished from reasoning or knowledge: responses have to be based on historical insight, not simply on emotion.

ORIGIN mid 16th cent. (denoting a public disturbance or commotion): from French émotion, from émouvoir ‘excite,’ based on Latin emovere, from e- (variant of ex-)‘out’ + movere ‘move.’ The sense ‘mental agitation’ dates from the mid 17th cent., the current general sense from the early 19th cent.

I have listed a handful for you today. Affection, Anger, Angst, Anguish, Annoyance, Anxiety, Apathy, Arousal, Awe, Boredom, Confidence, Contempt, Contentment, Courage, Curiosity, Depression, Disappointment, Disgust, Distrust, Dread, Ecstasy, Embarrassment, Envy, Euphoria, Excitement, Fear, Frustration, Gratitude, Grief, Guilt, Happiness, Hatred, Hope, Horror, Hostility, Hurt, Hysteria, Indifference, Interest, Jealousy, Joy, Loathing, Loneliness, Love, Lust, Outrage, Panic, Pity, Pleasure, Pride, Rage, Regret, Relief, Remorse, Sadness, Satisfaction, Schadenfeude, Self-confidence, Shame, Shock, Shyness, Sorrow, Suffering, Surprise, Trust, Wonder, Worry, Zeal, and Zest.

Evaluation of this short list, I’m sure you would agree that it is not complete. Although, its a great list to start our musing. In Schere’s components processing model of emotion, five crucial elements of emotion are said to exist. From the component processing perspective, emotion experience is said to require that all of these processes become coordinated and synchronized for a short period of time, driven by appraisal processes. Although the inclusion of cognitive appraisal as one of the elements is slightly controversial, since some theorists make the assumption that emotion and cognition are separate but interacting systems, the component processing model provides a sequence of events that effectively describes the coordination involved during an emotional episode.

Cognitive appraisal: provides an evaluation of events and objects

Bodily symptoms: the physiological component of emotional experience

Action tendencies: a motivational component for the preparation and direction of motor responses.

Expression: facial and vocal expression almost always accompanies an emotional state to communicate reaction and intention of actions

Feelings: the subjective experience of emotional state once it has occurred

When does this influx of emotion occur? Early childhood development? Possibly. The first time we take a risk and become vulnerable? Most assuredly. In the womb? Now there a point to ponder. While each of these is great to ponder, I’ll leave that to the psychologist. I’m in the business of helping understand their emotional reaction, how they might help or hinder them from achieving their goals. I’m also here to help you activate or deactivate the control switches.

So in other words, I am a change agent, a transformational guru, a spiritual midwife and counselor. To some my writings and perspective may appear strange but to others it will give voice to what they have “felt” inside and thereby feel suddenly liberated. You decide, but stay tuned to do so.
